Barefoot Tea was born long before there was a Barefoot Tea store.  A group of friends gathered for goodwill, good conversation and good tea. We decided to kick off our shoes during these get-togethers which is how the name “Barefoot Tea” was coined.

Our blend of loose leaf tea party-ing began to take shape as a concept to share. Barefoot Tea is the result and represents our footprint in the exciting and expanding world of American specialty tea houses.

We encourge everyone to drink tea barefoot.  This phrase represents our roots, present and future as a loose tea and tea goods purveyor.  We hope you enjoy our “no reservations needed” attitude and consider bringing the Barefoot Tea experience home or wherever your adventures lead.
